About Rotary Club de Labourdonnais

Rotary Club de Labourdonnais is a community-focused service club in Mauritius, dedicated to creating lasting impact through projects in health, education, inclusion and community development.

Rotary Club de Labourdonnais

Established in 1989, Rotary Club de Labourdonnais began with its first meetings in June and was officially chartered in November under Charter President PP Guy Ducasse. The club was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Quatre Bornes and became the 6th Rotary Club chartered in Mauritius.

Formerly known as Rotary Club of Beau Bassin–Rose Hill, the club now proudly continues its journey under the name Rotary Club de Labourdonnais, while keeping the same spirit, values and commitment to serving the community.

For over 35 years, the club has brought together members, volunteers and partners to support meaningful projects that improve lives and strengthen communities across Mauritius.

Our work focuses on practical actions that respond to real community needs. Through health screenings, education support, inclusion initiatives, welfare assistance and strong partnerships, we aim to turn compassion into lasting change.

Guided by the Rotary motto Service Above Self, we believe that every project is an opportunity to serve, connect and create a better future for others.

“We do not simply do charity. We create change.”
